Why are Hacoo's reviews so split?

Hacoo's Trustpilot numbers look like two different companies. Just over half of its 3,348 reviewers give five stars, praising item quality and — in one reviewer's words — sizing that is "very accurate across different purchases". A third give one star. 628 reviews were posted in the last twelve months, so the pattern is current, not historic.

Read the one-star reviews and a theme emerges: they're rarely about the first order. They're about what happens when something goes wrong. Customers describe long refund delays, refused refunds, and account restrictions after legitimate return requests. Another common complaint is that brands are removed or only available in some regions — so a Hacoo spreadsheet made in one country may not work in yours.

Hacoo does reply: 99% of negative reviews get a response, typically within a week. Whether the reply fixes the problem is what the one-star reviewers dispute.

What is Hacoo, and how does its app work?

Hacoo is the new name for Saramart — the same platform under a different brand, according to Marketing4eCommerce. You can only shop through the mobile app; there's no desktop checkout, and the app creates a guest account automatically if you don't register. Standard shipping costs $4.99, the app gives an estimated delivery date for each order, and Hacoo advertises more than 5 million products with discounts of up to 80%.

Hacoo spreadsheets, PDFs and regional stock

Google's suggestions for "hacoo spreadsheet" include "pdf", "link", "uk" and "women" — Hacoo lists are often shared as PDFs of app links, sometimes made for one country. Two problems follow. App links don't open on a desktop, so you have to transfer them to your phone. And because some brands are only available in some regions, a UK list may show items a US buyer can't get, or the reverse.

It also removes the regional-availability problem, since Weidian sellers ship to the agent's warehouse in China regardless of where you live.

Verdict: For a few low-cost items, Hacoo's convenience is hard to beat. For a haul where the details matter, an agent's QC step is worth the extra effort.

The two can also work together. Some buyers use Hacoo for cheap basics that don't need inspection — socks, phone cases, simple tees — and keep the agent route for pieces where fit, fabric and details matter. Splitting a wish list that way puts each item where its risk is lowest, and keeps any Hacoo refund problem small.
