They sort photos into albums by category, collection or drop, and buyers scroll through them the way they'd flip through a lookbook. That's why "yupoo spreadsheet" searches pull in agent names — Google's suggestions include "yupoo spreadsheet kakobuy" and "allchinabuy spreadsheet yupoo". People have found something on Yupoo and want to know which agent can buy it. The honest answer is: any agent, once you have the real product link.

Verdict: Treat Yupoo as a catalogue, never a shop. The product page — usually on Weidian — is what you actually buy.

From a Yupoo album to an order you can track

1. Look for the link in the album. Captions or album descriptions often carry a Weidian, Taobao or 1688 address. Weidian is the most common.
2. No link? Check the album's contact page. Sellers list WeChat or WhatsApp. Ask them for the Weidian link for the exact item and variant, rather than agreeing to pay them directly.
3. Paste the link into an agent. Choose the size and colour that match the album photo.
4. Judge the QC photos, not the album. Album photos are watermarked catalogue shots; your agent's QC photos show the item you'll actually receive.

If a seller only works through chat, a few agents will contact them for you: iTaoBuy, for instance, lists Yupoo among its sources. It's slower than a direct link, but it keeps the payment inside an agent account rather than a bank transfer to a stranger.

Verdict: A marketplace link plus an agent gives you QC photos and a paper trail. A bank transfer to a chat contact gives you neither.

What can go wrong when buying from a Yupoo album?

An anti-piracy analysis by Karg und Petersen, updated in 2025, describes how Yupoo albums are used: links in image captions to platforms such as DHgate and Taobao, contact pages inviting buyers to WeChat or WhatsApp, bank details for transfers, and coded prices in image titles. It also notes that brand owners can report infringing content to Yupoo through a form. So an album you bookmarked may simply vanish — another reason to save the marketplace link, not just the Yupoo URL.

Be wary of anyone who contacts you first. Legitimate album sellers wait for questions; accounts that message you with "special prices" and ask for payment outside a marketplace are a common scam pattern around Yupoo links.

Album quality varies a lot, too. Some sellers keep albums current and link every item; others leave years-old photos up for stock they no longer have. Ask before you plan a haul around an album.

Keeping a Yupoo spreadsheet that lasts

A Yupoo-based spreadsheet usually breaks in one of two ways: the album disappears, or the agent in the link closes. You can protect against both with three columns per row:

• Album link — for the photos and the seller's other items.
• Marketplace link — the Weidian, Taobao or 1688 page you actually buy from.
• Item ID and variant — the number from the marketplace link and the colour or version you want.

It also helps to note the date you last checked each row. Album sellers restock and delist constantly, and a row that hasn't been checked in three months is more likely to lead to a sold-out variant than a live listing.
