How fast does KakoBuy get a parcel out of the warehouse?

Faster than most. rep.tools tracks KakoBuy orders through live integrations and, in its July 2026 profile, put the median time from paying for a parcel to its leaving the warehouse at one day. Eighty-five percent left within four days. That matters more than it sounds: the warehouse stage is the one part of the journey an agent fully controls, and slow agents can add a week before a courier ever sees your box.

Once the parcel is with a carrier, the line you picked decides the rest. rep.tools lists typical windows of 12–19 days to the US, 7–16 to the UK, 12–24 to Germany and 11–19 to Australia. The single 74-day parcel in the Canada sample is a reminder that customs holds, not the agent, cause the extreme cases.

Verdict: KakoBuy is one of the quickest agents at the part it controls. If a KakoBuy parcel is late, look at the shipping line and customs first.

Using KakoBuy's 100 free storage days to build one parcel

KakoBuy stores each item free for 100 days from the day it arrives, sends a reminder at day 90, and charges ¥20 for each further 100 days after that. The long window changes how you can shop. Instead of shipping every time you find something, you can let items gather and pay international postage once.

1. Days 1–30: buy the pieces you are sure about. Approve or exchange each one as its QC photos arrive.
2. Days 30–80: add finds as you come across them. Keep a running total of weight, since KakoBuy's QC sets make it easy to estimate.
3. Around day 85: stop buying and request a shipping quote for the whole lot before the day-90 reminder.
4. Before day 100: ship, or pay ¥20 to extend if one last item is still on its way.

Shipping once is now worth more than it used to be. Since July 2026 the EU charges €3 of duty per item category on each small parcel, and the US has had no duty-free allowance since August 2025, so three small parcels can cost noticeably more than one well-packed box.

Verdict: Treat the 100 days as a haul-building window, and set a calendar note for day 85 so the reminder never catches you out.

Did KakoBuy shut down in August 2026?

No. KakoBuy's site went down for a short stretch in mid-August 2026. The timing was unlucky: CNFans had just closed and AllChinaBuy's homepage had been replaced by a maintenance notice, so an outage looked like a third collapse and the rumour spread quickly. rep.tools re-checked on August 31 and found KakoBuy operating normally, and fresh reviews kept appearing on its Trustpilot page into late September.

What KakoBuy's reviewers like and dislike

The www.kakobuy.com Trustpilot page showed 4.1/5 from 286 reviews when we checked, with 250 of them posted in the last twelve months. The shape of the scores is more useful than the average: 66% are five stars and 22% are one star, with very little in between. People tend to either have a smooth order or a problem that did not get fixed.

The happy reviews talk about the app and the ordering flow. One recent reviewer called the app "smooth"; another liked a seller's free-returns policy. The unhappy ones are mostly about money after the item has been bought. A reviewer from the UK said he was charged €160 to ship 5 kg, and rep.tools lists KakoBuy's main weakness as disputes handled rigidly, compensation offered as coupons rather than cash, and refunds that take a while.

Note that rep.tools quotes a different Trustpilot profile with 2.5/5 from 74 reviews as of July 1, 2026. Both profiles exist; we show the larger one and mention the smaller rather than choosing the more flattering figure.

Verdict: KakoBuy is well liked for buying and QC. Get a shipping quote before you commit a heavy haul, and expect store credit rather than a cash refund if something goes wrong.

What does KakoBuy charge, and how can you pay?

KakoBuy does not publish a flat service-fee percentage. The fee is shown per item at checkout, and on many standard Taobao and Weidian orders it comes to zero. The costs that actually move your total are international shipping and the payment method.

On a $250 top-up, PayPal's fee is about $7.55. Crypto avoids that but gives you no way to claw money back, which matters with an agent whose reviewers already complain about slow refunds.

Verdict: Use PayPal for your first few KakoBuy orders. Switch to a cheaper method only once you've had a parcel arrive.

Turning a KakoBuy spreadsheet link into an order

1. Open a find above and copy the Weidian link from the repbuysheet.com listing.
2. Paste it into KakoBuy's search bar. It also reads Taobao and 1688 links.
3. Choose the size and colour, then pay for the item and the seller's domestic shipping.
4. Check the QC photos when they arrive — usually within a day of the item reaching the warehouse.
5. Approve, return or exchange, then store it or add it to a parcel.
